Koenigsegg Agera R Come To Geneva With 1,150 Horsepower

When the Geneva Motor Show starts this week, Lamborghini Aventador won’t be the only supercar that will get the attention at the event. The competitor is the Koenigsegg Agera R like you see in the picture above, which is also making its global debut with a Speed Racer paint scheme and bringing so much powe in it.

Talking about the power, you will find the Agera R’s 5.0 liter twin turbo V8 engine under the hood, which will deliver 1,115 horsepower with 885 pound feet of torque on E85. If you fill the tank with 95 octane gasoline instead of the default biofuel, you will got 940 horses and 811 pound feet, which is still outrageous. Its V8 engine is mated to a 7 speed gearbox with dual clutch.

Inside, the driver will surely meet a cockpit that meets all the hypercar fantasy criteria. The body panels of this car was made from a carbon fiber monocoque with a great rigidity. It is a removable panel that can be putted inside the car. The car’s example which is going to be shown in Geneva is belong to a skier, so the car will got a custom carbon fiber roof box in a Thule. It is a system that will replace the entire standard roof of Agera R.

Lamborghini Aventador Has No Lid

Lamborghini Aventador Has No Lid

After a long time with only the spy shots, we are now able to see the real Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4. Any people might already know that when we are guessing on the next variant of the next biggest and baddest release from Lamborghini, we must imaging a car with only two feet of roof gone missing. However, you don’t need to do so as RenderedSpeculation.com has done it for you.

The Aventador was close the relation of the car to the previous members of the V12 Lamborghini family, means that you will see the roadster appearance, at least in its rendered form. So, despite thinking that this is a game of imagination testing, you might better consider that the tax refunds will be coming soon, so you should figure out on whether the coupe or this roadster deserves your money.

This rendering was taken with the design cues speculatively taken from the bodacious Reventon, while the recent facelifts from the Gallardo. The picture above is one of the two renderings from RenderingSpeculation.com. We hope that Lamborghini will giving a further details,as the previous Murcielago roadster’s roofing seems less than convenient.

Tribute to the Old Moonshiner’s Galaxie

Tribute to the Old Moonshiner's Galaxie

It is a pretty unique situation when someone gets to hold onto they beloved vehicle. Generally, the vehicle will end up sold, crashed, crushed, or even land in the ruinous hands of younger siblings. There are some serious amount of time in order to take care of the car that once occupied our stable. So, it will be great if someone is not only keepinh the keys to their mechanical loves, but also take the time to dust them off or light the tires sometimes.

This is also the ase for the 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 XL as you see in the picture above. These two door car was initially a Z code car. It means that it came to the market with 390 cubic inch V8 engine in a four speed manual transmission on the rear tires. At somemoment, that power source was putted for the R code bits, including the 427 lump and four speed top loader transmission. This is the right option for a  muscle car.

The owner said that the car was owned by an old moonshine runner. Now after the car has spent its time out in the weeds, it is now the time to rest peacefully inside the garage door.

KIA Make its Commercial With Griffin’s Dunk

KIA Make its Commercial With Griffin's Dunk

The All-Star Weekend on NBA has passed. As always, the biggest story from the all-star break comes from the dunk contest. If you are talking about this commercial, there might be two different views. One might see it as a creative new stuff, while the other said it was a weak-sauce prop drunks. However, KIA is surely thrilled with the attention on their Optima. They even will used the dunk footage in the upcoming commercial.

If you are not used to the NBA, Blake Griffin (the one who did the dunk) is the LA Clipper and jumper extraordinaire which pulled the 2011 KIA Optima to the court on his dunk. The one who is hiding in the cabin was Baron Davis, who give an alley oop pass via the car’s sunroof. Griffin then lept over the hood, get the ball, and brought it to the standing crowd for a new level of excitement.

The video of the dunk seems pretty amazing. You can see it from YouTube here. However after some review, there are some amount of people think that the dunk is fairly tame.
